Shipping a pram or any other large item across the country or, in our case anywhere in the world it can be a hair raising experience to say the least if you don't know what you're doing. Not to mention expensive. Right? Not any more. Shipping is really quite simple. The USF Truck Line is our company of choice Nationwide for a variety of reasons. We receive up to a 60% discount with USF and we pass that savings on to you. USF also has sister companies that complete a network of trucks nationwide. Worldwide, we have a number of freight forwarders as well as again, the USF line helping us ship prams to Canada, Puerto Rico as well as a number of other countries.
When we ship a pram we use cardboard and a reusable shipping covers made specifically for each pram shape and design. First, we encase each pram in 4' x 8' sheets of cardboard similar to a cocoon. We then place our polyester lined vinyl shipping covers over the pram and drawstring the bottom. Two bands around the pram to hold it all together, a couple of cardboard skid pads underneath, your name on the "ship to" spot and off it goes. Our shippers are happy as they get a lighter package to hand load and we're happy because we can save you money in shipping costs.
